Everyday Living
#1 Self-Care: Stressful times call for extra understanding and self-care. Even if you just give yourself 45 minutes to workout or listen to your favorite songs on YouTube you will be better able to handle the stress that comes your way with staying at home. Some of you may be feeling financial strain and that takes a toll on the mind, body, and spirit which is why allowing yourself 45 minutes to an hour dedicated to self-care will help to get you through the day's challenges without having a major meltdown.
#2 Ask for help: I know it isn't the easiest thing to do but now is not the time to let your pride override what is important.
#3 Health Habits: Stay as true as possible to healthy habits. Right now, you can still make healthy choices at the grocery store and while ordering to-go. An anti-inflammatory diet will better equip you to fend off an inflammatory assault.
#4 Practice Good Hygiene: Keep up good hygiene practices while at home and while out and about. If you run out of hand sanitizer fill those empty bottles with rubbing alcohol.
#5 Sleep: It's more important than ever to get 6 -8 hours of sleep.
#6 Eat the Rainbow: When shopping for food get all the colors of the rainbow and make sure your plate has at least 3 colors on it. This will help your stress levels, vitamin and mineral levels.
#7 Go to the hospital or doctor if you need to: Get care if you need it.
